Simple exercises for a summer day

Today is the first day of summer, and it is also the longest day of the year. It was a beautiful day, but then again, every day is a beautiful day.

With the extra sunlight in the coming days, we’ll have a little extra time to engage in outdoor physical activities.

Depending on your own physical condition, choose an activity that you can perform for a minimum of 30 minutes a day. There are numerous activities from which to choose, but for today, how about starting with a walk in the park or on the beach, if you’re close to one, or a short bike ride.

How aboutĀ balancing a hula hoop on your hips as you rock back and forth, just as we did for fun when we were kids.

Do you still have jump ropes somewhere in your house? I dug mine out of my junk drawer.

Fifteen minutes of physical exercise can help to keep your body and mind active.
